Who Needs an ISNetworld® Account?
Any hiring client that requires ISNetworld® certification before a contractor is permitted to begin work for them needs an ISNetworld® account. ISNetworld® is a 3rd party platform that verifies a contractors’ safety program, policies, records, and other data to be approved on the platform or continue to work for the hiring client.
Many contractors will only create an account at the request of a client. If you’ve never had to use ISNetworld® before, it can be a daunting task trying to navigate your way through the process.
More and more companies are requiring their contractors to become ISNetworld® certified such as Walmart, American Water, BP, etc. Regardless of your level of experience or the amount of clients you have, we can handle any ISNetworld® task big or small. Let us help you become certified!
Starting an ISNetworld® Account
Contractors who haven’t been certified through ISNetworld® will be required to create an account at the request of a hiring client. The contractor will be required to submit a plethora of documents such as:
OSHA Recordable Incident Forms
Experience Modification Rate (EMR)
Insurance Certification
Safety & Training Programs
Detailed questionnaires ranging from 1800-2200 questions
ISNetworld®’s requirements may vary based off of the scope of work and the specifications the hiring client may require. Specifically, ISNetworld® has a unique format and certification process that may seem foreign to anybody unfamiliar.
These processes are typically found in the RAVS®, RAVS Plus, and MSQ® sections and may require lots of documentation on the contractor’s policies and management practices. Elements like this may cause a contractor to seek 3rd party assistance (like us!) to expedite this tedious process.
Post Account Creation
Once a contractor has set up their account and submitted all the required information accordingly, it must be reviewed and certified by ISNetworld® which may take up to two weeks for grading.
ISNetworld® grades are issued in an A to F grading scale; however, only an A and B grade are acceptable and considered a passing grade which will deem the account compliant. Anything below a B will be considered a failing grade and require the contractor to submit more supporting documents or update their current documents.
